Summer Kick Off Concert – POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER
The Annual Ludington Area Jaycees Summer Kick Off Concert will once again feature the Scottville Clown Band and their scholarship recipients! There will be a short presentation during intermission to recognize the 2019 Freedom Festival Grand Marshal. Freedom Festival T-shirts will be available for purchase, as well as concessions, and a donation can will also be on-hand — with all these proceeds benefiting this year’s Freedom Festival Fireworks.

National Asparagus Festival – CANCELED
Oceana County, known as “The Asparagus Capital of the Nation”, is one of the leading areas for asparagus growth in the entire country! We’ve been celebrating asparagus since 1974 and nobody does it better. We are the longest running asparagus festival in the country and 2020 marks the 47th festival. Come join us!

In celebration of the Grand Haven United States Coast Guard Festival, the Grand Haven American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post #28 hosts a free show of the Scottville Clown Band! All proceeds from donations and food purchases benefit the Legion Riders who do wonderous works for military veterans!

Mackinac Island is celebrating its 73rd Annual Lilac Festival, June 4 through 13, 2021. It’s the first and largest summer event on the Island, attracting thousands of visitors. Festivities for the 10-day festival include the coronation of the Lilac Festival Queen and Court, Lilac Festival Run/Walk, Mackin-Paws Dog Celebration, the Lilac Festival Grand Stationary Parade and much more.
National Trout Festival
The National Trout Festival is an annual festival held in Kalkaska, Michigan the last full weekend in April to celebrate the opening of trout season in Michigan.
Events of the National Trout Festival include a fishing contest for children aged 16 and younger, a carnival, parades, fireworks, motor sports and live music.
